We know that December can be crazy, so we’re keeping it light and casual at Pizza & Beer of Richmond [PBR] in the Fan.  Wine Director Kat Aldrich will help us explore different wine grape varieties in the Pinot family (e.g. Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, ) while we enjoy brick-oven baked Neapolitan style pizza from PBR. 

Update!  For extra holiday cheer, we are going co-ed and encourage you to bring your spouse, significant other or “guy friend”

This is an informal event.  Doors will open at 6:00 pm and we’ll start you off with our traditional glass of sparkling wine while we catch up with friends both old and new. 

After opening remarks at 6:30 pm, pizza will be served and Kat will begin our primer on all things ‘Pinot.’ (and no, we won’t be tested!) Final wine and pizza selections are still in the works but we expect to have a variety of specialty and basic pizzas including a vegan and a gluten free option. For the wines we expect to serve a pinot gris, pinot blanc and 2 pinot noirs.  We do hope you’ll join us! 

Venue Notes:  PBR is in the Fan District.  There is a small parking lot available plus street parking.
