Hello everyone! We know that the holidays can be a little hectic, so we’re trying to keep things a little laid back and casual for our December event and heading down under for burgers and wine! Burger Bach touts themselves as a New Zealand Inspired Gastro Pub, so naturally, owner Angela Whitley created a special Southern Hemisphere themed wine pairing dinner for our December event.  Burgers are the main entree, but there’s so much more, so check out the menu below and register soon!  Following recent tradition, our December event is co-ed and we encourage you to bring your spouse, friends, and/or significant other. The more the merrier – Ho Ho Ho.

Angela’s menu for the evening will include:

1st Course – Angela’s Fruit & Nut Salad

Mixed lettuces, goat cheese, toasted almonds & pecans, roasted beets, kiwi & fresh blueberries

paired with New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

2nd Course – Sauteed French Mussels  OR  Brown Onion Gravy Fry Indulgence

Mussels with dijon mustard, tarragon, cream, olive oil, garlic, shallots, lemon

OR Brown gravy fry indulgence with organic NZ cheddar cheese

paired with Pinot Grigio

3rd Course – Burgers! (half portions of each)

                                       French Chick – Organic, free-range chicken, Manuka honey mustard sauce, grilled green apple, turkey bacon, Brie cheese, caramelized onions.

paired with Pinot Noir

                                         Wellington – 100% all-natural, grass fed & pasture raised beef, NZ triple cream blue cheese, HP sauce, caramelized onions, brown sauce, sauteed wild mushrooms, garlic aioli.

paired with Cabernet Sauvignon

4th Course – DESSERT 

An iconic New Zealand chocolate biscuit with a cornflake -chocolate icing and walnut topping

Venue Notes:   Doors open at 6:00 PM and we’ll enjoy a southern hemisphere sparkling wine while we socialize with other guests and catch up on holiday hugs.  Opening remarks and dinner will begin promptly at 6:30.
