Members and Friends, you are cordially invited to join us for our July event at Click – A Wine Spot in the West End.   We are excited to join owner Matty McGuigan and introduce you to his local wine shop and wine bar. You might remember Matty from our previous event at Puck’s in 2021, where he provided our very entertaining wine & food education.  Always colorful with his wine descriptions, and often eclectic in his analogies, Matty is a certified sommelier, a longtime wine sales rep and he has culinary training in his background — which is why his small plates are so creative!

This will be our 2nd event that features a smaller venue where we offer 2 different sessions to choose from so that we can accommodate as many people as possible.  (If your calendar is flexible, choose the “flexible” option when you register and we’ll confirm your date at least a week before the event)  Hope you can join us for this casual trip to the West Coast!

Our theme is “Up the West Coast with Click!” and will feature the menu below

1st Course (upon arrival):

Phyllo Cup Salad – Confetti of Peppers, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Feta, and Lime Cilantro Vinaigrette
Paired with El Bajio Brut Sparkling, Valle Bernal, Mexico

2nd Course:

Marinated Shrimp & Green Apple Salsa

Paired with Monte Xanic Chenin Blanc, Valle De Guadalupe, Mexico

3rd Course:

Santa Maria Tri Tip and Pinquito Beans

Paired with Andrew Murray Syrah “Tous Les Jours”, Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara, CA

4th Course:

Mushrooms Stuffed with 1-Year Aged Deer Creek Cheddar “The Stag,” Chives, and Fresh Herbs

Paired with Buananno Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley, Sonoma, CA 

Dessert:

Tart of Poached Pear, Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Smoked Almonds

Paired with Robert Foley Conclusao Port Style Wine, Napa, CA
