You do not want to miss our July event! Chef Jannequin Bennett has created a Portuguese Tasting Dinner specifically for the Women’s Wine Society. Not only will we be treated to a delicious meal, she has also arranged to have a member of the wine-making family of the Encosta de Serpa wines with us! Catarina Monge, along with her family, own Monge e Filhas-Vinhos de Serpa. They are a family run and operated vineyard and winery in the Alentejo region of Portugal. As a family, they are not only devoted to producing great tasting, high quality wines but also committed to producing a product that can showcase the beauty of the Alentejo. Genevlyn Steele, from Dionysus Imports, will be accompanying her and representing the other 3 wines being poured.
Reception begins at 6:00 pm with a glass of bubbly (Quinto Do Encontro Brut Rose, Dao) while mingling with other guests and enjoying some crunchy noshes. The meeting/dinner will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
